X-Men and Avengers to unite in Marvel’s star-studded Hellfire Gala

Who has Emma Frost invited to the Hellfire Gala and who could possibly show up or crash the party?

Marvel‘s The Hellfire Gala has been making a lot of noise on social media platforms ever since its announcement. The title itself is amazing. Who doesn’t love a gala? The Met Gala is one of the biggest celebrity nights of the year and it always gets all sorts of media coverage. Add mutants, fantastic writers and artists to the mix and you have the recipe for an exciting time.

Then, the official Hellfire Gala guide was recently released and it previewed the amazing outfits, with Emma Frost, Mystique, and Colossus among some of the most stunning.

While some will go all out, others like Wolverine, Daken, and Domino are going for a more toned-down look. We’ve also seen Iceman and Prodigy wearing gowns in support of members of the LGBTQ community. All of this looks amazing so far and we haven’t seen everyone yet. There are certainly other mutants that we haven’t seen that are going to slay the Hellfire Gala’s red carpet. Even more thrilling is that Marvel.com announced that there will be real life celebrities added to the series.

The celebrities we could see at Marvel’s Hellfire Gala

Marvel.com revealed that celebrities like Eminem, Conan O’Brien, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Ira Glass, and Pete Alonso are on the guest list. Will there be anymore attending too?

Among some of the fan-favorite choices might be famous rapper Ghostface Killah – who was actually in the first Iron Man movie in a deleted scene and goes by Tony Stark. Method Man has been lobbying to play Bishop in a Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Maybe he shows up and makes a pitch. Jean Grae was in issue No. 25 of Deadpool. Could she appear as well?

Then there are the celebrities that are close to the hearts of nerd culture who would be great additions to the line-up. Former WWE Champion CM Punk wrote a Drax comic book series, Rosario Dawson has been in multiple comic book projects and loves comic book culture. Maybe we could see appearances from legends like Kevin Smith or Mark Hamill, too? The options seem to be endless. This writer can’t wait to see the plethora of surprises we’ll see in the Hellfire Gala.

Let’s not forget that no comic book event is complete without some drama. Which celebrities will show up and cause some unwanted commotion? Which people will be mad that they weren’t deemed worthy of the invite? We can certainly count on an appearance from Dr. Doom, right? At the very least a Doombot.

The Avengers were invited. Will any of them show up? We can see in the picture above that they make an appearance at the gate. That doesn’t mean they’ll get in. We can count on T’Challa to make it. He knows diplomacy and understands the importance of this event. Will things get awkward between him and Storm since she stole a sacred sword in X of Swords.

Lastly, with the issues that mutants have had with the Fantastic Four in X-Men/Fantastic Four, will they get an invite or even go? They could feel insulted after what they did to Franklin in Fantastic Four No. 25.

One thing is certain, this is going to be more than a gala. This is going to be unforgettable.
