The Flash season 7’s latest installment left fans in complete shock but does it really mean what it looked like?

The Flash season 7 has been ramping up the tension over the last couple of weeks. With Barry Allen and Team Flash now dealing with the emergence of the four Flash Forces, things have been more intense in Central City than viewers have seen in quite some time.

The recent betrayal that Team Flash suffered at the hands of the Speed Force – a long-time ally and friend to them and the source of Barry’s power – really turned things on their head and, ever since, the team has been attempting to save the Forces instead.

This week, however, there was little saving to be done as a jaw-dropping conclusion left viewers stunned.

What does the ending of The Flash season 7, episode 10 really mean?

“Family Matters, Part 1” concluded with Speed Force Nora utilizing the powers of Deon, a.k.a. the Still Force, to stop time so that she could wipe out Fuerza and Pysch – the Strength and Sage Forces. Shocking as it was, Iris got caught in the middle of it and viewers were left with an ending that made it seem like Mrs. West-Allen had died along with two of her and Barry’s Force “children”.

Does Iris die in The Flash season 7?

It’s highly unlikely that Iris will remain dead. As the trailer for the upcoming episode, “Family Matters, Part 2” indicates, Barry and the rest of Team Flash will go to extreme lengths in order to reverse what happened and ultimately save Fuerza, Psych and, of course, Iris.

How they will pull it off remains to be seen, but rest assured that we haven’t seen the last of Iris West-Allen. And thank goodness for that!

The Flash season 7 returns to The CW next Tuesday, May 25, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
