Dane DeHaan has revealed if he would reprise his role of Harry Osborn aka Green Goblin in a future Spider-Man film or do something completely different.

As per Comicbook.com, Dane DeHaan has revealed if he would be open to reprising his role as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin from the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in a future movie or if he would prefer to take on a different comic book franchise.

Spider-Man is now a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Sony agreed to “share” the character with Marvel Studios. Before that licensing arrangement, however, plans were set in motion for future installments of The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, including a Sinister Six spin-off – which were then abandoned when the second movie underperformed and Sony made the deal with Marvel Studios.

But could DeHaan return in the MCU movies?

Is Dane DeHaan returning as Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

DeHaan, who has already debunked rumors that he will reprise his role as the Green Goblin in the upcoming MCU movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, told ComicBook that he would prefer to take on a new project. He revealed:

"“I would definitely hope to take on a new thing, for sure. What’s exciting to me is always doing new things, and I’m sure something like that will come along again in my life, and I’m excited to see what to see what it is.”"

Though filming of the third entry of MCU’s Spider-Man wrapped principal photography back in March, there are a lot of rumors about the Jon Watts-directed installment that have yet to be verified. Ever since Jamie Foxx was confirmed to reprise his Amazing Spider-Man 2 role as Maxx Dillon/Electro in the upcoming film, there have been endless rumors in regards to who could appear in it. Even Andrew Garfield himself recently debunked a rumor of returning as his version of the webslinger in No Way Home.

In spite of those rumors, it seems like DeHaan won’t be reprising his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Though have no fear, there might be another Goblin in our midst.
