9. Shang-Chi vs everyone

Comic book: Shang -Chi No. 1

With Shang-Chi’s movie coming out later this year, it only makes sense that we’d get to see him in his own comic book series. This is a chance for the world to witness how good he is before Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrives in theaters. The only way to truly do this is to put him up against the best. It looks like Marvel is planning to do just that.

In issue No. 1, Shang-Chi, his sister Esme, and Spider-Man team up. This is an alliance that Shang-Chi didn’t want. He was trying to hide that he took over his father’s business. Towards the end of the book, however, Shang-Chi has no option but to tell Spider-Man the truth.

Why is this important?

Shang-Chi is doing what he can to turn his father’s business into something different. The heroes of the Marvel Universe may not see it that way, especially not Spider-Man. While he is one of the greatest comic book heroes of all time, Spidey is also one of the most sanctimonious characters of all time. He will more than likely go to his peers and tell them that something is up with Shang-Chi.

The title of this narrative is Shang-Chi vs. The Marvel Universe. Now, we know why that is the case.
