Loki is coming to Disney Plus tonight
It’s almost time for Loki to arrive on Disney Plus and here’s all you need to know.
The wait is almost over. After nearly two months without a new installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to look forward to, Loki will premiere on Disney Plus in a matter of hours.
The MCU made its presence felt in 2021 after a year-and-a-half absence – the result of the COVID-19 pandemic delays. WandaVision was the first installment to grace the small screen this year, reintroducing fans to two of the MCU’s most beloved characters in Wanda and Vision. After an incredibly successful six-episode run, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier did the same, bringing Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes back to screens in an equally-compelling adventure.
We have definitely been spoiled with MCU content this month after that near-two-year drought, which made the sudden absence of a new Marvel Studios Disney Plus show quite jarring. But the weeks rolled through quickly and now Loki will arrive, bringing Tom Hiddleston’s beloved God of Mischief to the forefront of his very own six-episode adventure.
What time is Loki season 1, episode 1 coming to Disney Plus?
Like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki will release its premiere episode on Disney+ at midnight P.T. on Wednesday, June 7. That means that those who live on the West Coast will be able to view it from 12:01 a.m. P.T. while fans on the East Coast can watch from 3:01 a.m. ET.
The show will run for six episodes so each successive installment will be uploaded on Wednesdays for the next five weeks. Throughout each of those episodes, Thor’s trickster brother will find himself travelling through time in the hopes of helping the TVA repair the timeline but can he – or the TVA – actually be trusted?
