Loki: 5 best moments from “The Variant”

Ahead of the upcoming third episode, relive the best moments from the game changing sophomore episode of Loki.
After a brilliant first episode, Loki’s second episode, titled “The Variant”, kicks things into high gear, as the TVA and Loki begin their uneasy partnership on the field as they search for The Variant.
Despite the TVA’s hesitation to partner up with the God of Mischief and his intent to use them as a means of either meeting with the Time Keepers or overthrowing the organisation, Mobius has faith in the 2012 variant of the villain.
The episode sees Loki and Mobius’ bromance grow, as Mobius continues to vouch for the Marvel villain despite his ulterior motives. Meanwhile, The Variant is revealed and proves herself as a powerful threat to be reckoned with. As this show is a time-travelling show, fans are also treated to a number of different locations and time periods that Loki, Mobius and the TVA visit (both past and future). Some of these locations are beautiful, while others are used merely to help drive the plot forward.
This episode is one of the best that has come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ series thus far, with a number of great moments to choose from. While it was difficult to choose just five moments, this list compiles those in the episode that were the most jaw-dropping.
