After episode 3 of Disney Plus’ Loki, these five questions need to be answered in episode 4.
Episode 2 of Disney Plus’ Loki finally gave us a look at the Variant of the God of Mischief. On top of that, we saw what she was planning: Complete and total chaos. After they were done with the first phase of their plan, new timelines popped up all over the place.
As the Variant escaped, however, the portal they created was left open. Loki had a decision to make: Stay with the TVA or jump through the portal with his Variant. As expected, Loki followed.
“Lamentis” answered some questions we had, but left us with more. Here are the five that will live rent free in our minds until episode 4.
5. Why doesn’t Sylvie want to be called Loki?
This has been a question we’ve had since episode 2. However, it seems more important now. Sylvie made it a point to tell Loki her name. What she didn’t tell him is why. What happened in her life that was so traumatic that she cursed her name?
Writer Robert Rodi wrote a mini-series called Loki. In that run, the God of Mischief saw how he’s destined to fail. Maybe something similar happened to Sylvie and she decided changing her name could avoid this fate.
There is a strong chance that we will find out why she doesn’t like being called Loki in this next episode – most likely since Sylvie will think they’re facing death.
