Loki’s third episode has arrived but just how long does it run for?

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a week since the previous episode of Loki aired on Disney Plus. Loki Wednesdays have become such a tradition for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans that they have literally been counting down the days until the next one (after just two of them!). And this shouldn’t be surprising after they did the same for WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The show has already captivated the hearts and minds of MCU fans around the world, with Tom Hiddleston quickly reminding us why we all love his scheming trickster so much. But Loki’s adventures through the timeline and to the Time Variance Authority have been pretty scheming themselves and that’s all because of this new Variant that just so happens to be another version of the God of Mischief.

With so many twists and turns it’s easy to see why this story needed a six-episode season to tell it. But with two 50-miniute episodes just starting to unravel the mystery, how long is episode 3?

How long is Loki season 1, episode 3?

Loki‘s third episode, “Lamentis”, clocks in at 43 minutes. That makes it quite a bit shorter than the previous episodes (which ran for 51 and 54 minutes respectively) and closer to the length of an American network TV episode.

Kevin Feige previously confirmed that the MCU shows on Disney Plus would amount to six-hour movies when their runs are completed. So far that has indeed been the case with finished shows WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It’s definitely looking like Loki will follow suit (even with a slightly shorter installment).
