9. Zumbado defeated… for now
Comic book: Justice League No. 62 and No. 63
The Flash made a miscalculation when sending the Justice League to another dimension. When they arrived, all of the League members were in a different place. If that wasn’t bad enough, their powers were acting up. Some of them were stronger while others couldn’t handle what was going on. Brutus took advantage of this and defeated Superman and Black Adam.
Luckily, Hippolyta and Flash arrived to help him realize his mistake. When they arrived, Hippolyta defeated Brutus easily. Before the Justice League could rest, however, Zumbado showed up. He’s the one that everyone in the dimension fears.
Why is this important?
Naomi knows Zumbado. She defeated him the first time, but things are different now. He’s prepared this time. She may have the Justice League, but they couldn’t defeat Zumbado’s LT. How are they going to beat the strongest of their realm? Easy, with Hawkgirl’s Nth metal mallet and an uppercut from Black Adam and Hippolyta.
This is going to be something special. As we saw from the ending, this will only be the first of many fights. Zumbado is going to lose and adapt. Once he comes up with a better plan, he and the rest of his people will invade and try to conquer. The Justice League needs new enemies and Zumbado will be a good one.
