Titans season 3 is not coming to HBO Max in July 2021
Titans season 3 won’t be making its debut on screens just yet but when does it arrive?
DC’s Titans is gearing up to make its return to screens. The series was formerly a part of the DC Universe streaming service (being that platform’s first of six original shows) and it ran for two successful seasons. However, after the announcement that the service would evolve into a comics-only subscription service, Warner Bros. moved Titans to HBO Max.
Though a somewhat divisive series in the beginning of its run because of its unusually dark tone when telling a story about normally light-hearted DC characters, Titans grew into its groove as it moved on, quickly becoming one of the most popular comic book shows today.
Titans season 3 will hit screens shortly after what was undoubtedly a long hiatus. The show’s second season saw the group of young heroes battle Deathstroke and Cadmus and it concluded in December 2019. The production shutdown of 2020 delayed the third season indefinitely but it’s almost time for the show to return.
However, we’ll have to wait a little longer for Titans season 3 because it won’t be coming this month. HBO Max released the full list of upcoming movies and TV shows for July and the show was not mentioned. But there is no need to worry because we do know when the show will premiere.
Titans season 3 release date
Titans season 3 will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, August 12. Yes, that means that we are only one month away from new episodes!
The first three episodes will arrive at the same time before each new episode is released on a weekly basis.
Now a Max original, this is the first time that Titans will release new episodes exclusively on the WarnerMedia streaming platform but it follows the same pattern that companion series Doom Patrol adopted when it launched its second season on both platforms last summer.
