Loki: 4 MCU characters that might actually have created the TVA

And, of course, there’s this guy. Ever since WandaVision, Mephisto has been on the minds of every Marvel Comics fan, with many of them just waiting for him to pop up in the MCU. Is Loki finally the place that it will happen?

In the first episode, people saw the red devil-like figure in the pane glass window. Everyone immediately thought that this time it was Mephisto. As we’ve seen, however, we were wrong. Or were we?

Mephisto’s debut isn’t likely right now. It’s more likely that Marvel is going to drag out the Mephisto mystery for as long as possible. The earliest we might hear his name would be in 2022 during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

So, as improbable as him controlling the TVA is, it’s still an option. Who knows who what he’s really up to.

Ravonna

And now we come to this. Ravonna Renslayer could be the one controlling the TVA all along. Sometimes the best place to hide is in plain sight. What’s more in sight than working with everyone you’re controlling?

We may have seen her interrogating a TVA worker, but this could be all part of her playing a game. It’s probably why she’s so into the TVA. She’s like the undercover boss. It also makes sense that she’d keep all the trophies – a testament to all of her work. It’s like a criminal keeping trophies.

Even if Ravonna tells Sylvie the story of the TVA and the Time-Keepers, can we believe her? She’s lied so much that we can’t trust anything she’s saying. For all we know, she’s a Loki herself.

In Marvel Comics, Ravonna has a connection to Kang the Conqueror. Maybe my colleague Michael is right. This could end like The Avengers with Kang revealing himself in the end-credit scene.
