Marvel’s What If…? season 1, episode 2 live stream: Watch online

Episode 1 of Marvel Studios’ newest Disney Plus show What If…? debuted with a nice twist on Captain America: The First Avenger. Instead of Steve Rogers becoming Captain America, Peggy Carter became Captain Carter. With that, Steve became the Hydra Stomper. His look resembled the first Iron Man armor. Which makes sense since Howard Stark (Tony’s dad) made the suit. It was also incredibly cool that they changed the way Captain Carter was displaced in time and gave her a sword, to boot.
There was a lot to love about episode 1 of What If…?. Two things particularly stick out. First, Captain Carter and Steve Rogers’ relationship didn’t change. Steve wasn’t jealous of her becoming a Super Soldier. Instead, he became her biggest fan and supporter. Second, Captain Carter was tougher. She knew how good she was and wasn’t going to be denied. Watching her tell and show everyone how she was capable of doing the job was great. Especially when she told her boss off for being sexist.

The second episode of What If…? is going to be an emotional one. It’ll be one of the last times we have the privilege of hearing Chadwick Boseman’s voice in a new Marvel Studios project.
Instead of Peter Quill being taken by Yondu and the Ravagers, it’ll be T’Challa who becomes Star-Lord. The previews of this have made their way around the internet, showcasing that T’Challa seems a bit sillier, but just as skilled as he is in the MCU. This writer wonders how much he’s changed the Ravagers. Especially since the people going after him knew who Star-Lord is. And how did Yondu get into Wakandan airspace? These are questions that will certainly be answered in episode 2 of What If…?.
