What If…? episode 3 spoilers: What is the third episode about?
What If…? will return next week with another memorable installment. But what can fans expect from this one?
Marvel’s What If…? is quite the conundrum. Rarely has a show existed in which quite literally anything could happen, but Disney Plus‘ newest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or a multitude of alternate realities within it) is one of the few in which basically anything could indeed happen.
The fourth Marvel Studios series to premiere on Disney Plus this year, it joins WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki in bringing MCU fans to the streaming service. And just like those shows had us all praising their innovative storytelling methods, What If…? has been thrilling us with inventive retellings of the MCU’s heroes and villains.
The first installment reimagined Peggy Carter as the first Avenger, with the future founder of SHIELD instead taking the Super Soldier Serum to become Captain Carter while Steve Rogers ended up becoming the first Iron Man, utilising the Hydra Stomper. Meanwhile, the second gave us a chance to see how T’Challa would have become Star-Lord if Yondu and the Ravagers had taken him from Wakanda when he was younger. But what can we expect from the third episode?
What If…? episode 3 plot synopsis
An official plot synopsis has not yet been released for Marvel’s What If…? episode 3 but we do know that the third episode will focus on Loki as he rules on Earth.
This will no doubt be a treat for Marvel Cinematic Universe fans as they get to enjoy the return of Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief so soon after the conclusion of the first season of the character’s own Disney Plus series.
Marvel’s What If…? episode 3 streams exclusively on Disney+ next Wednesday, August 25, at 12:01 a.m. PT and 3:01 a.m. ET.
