Venom: Let There Be Carnage UK release date: When is Venom 2 out in the UK?

Venom: Let There Be Carnage opens in the US this weekend, but when can fans in the UK enjoy the Tom Hardy flick? When is it released in the United Kingdom?

There are a lot of huge movies still to come in 2021 and many of them are indeed superhero movies. All of those superhero movies feature Marvel Comics characters too, but the one that is not set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

The sequel to 2018’s wildly successful Venom, it sees Tom Hardy reprise the titular role as his love/hate relationship with the alien symbiote inhabiting his body means that Eddie Brock – and indeed Venom – is all set for another unusual adventure.

And the sequel gets very unusual as Venom must do battle with another like him, as the murderous Cletus Kasady becomes Carnage after tasting Brock’s blood.

Venom 2 is destined to entertain audiences across the US this weekend. However, when can those in the UK expect to check it out?

When does Venom: Let There Be Carnage come out in the UK?

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is released in UK theaters on October 15, 2021. Like we saw happen with its US release, the movie was delayed and pushed back a number of times due to the ever-shifting film landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Venom 2 was originally supposed to hit movie theaters on October 2, 2020. It was then delayed until summer 2021 before being brought forward again to March 2021. However, the release was subsequently delayed again, with the movie being moved back to September.

After shuffling around with the September release a little (and some rumors that suggested a delay until 2022), it was finally decided that the film would be released on October 15.
