Chris Evans is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood right now. He has starred in a number of memorable films including Knives Out, Snowpiercer and Fox’s Fantastic Four franchise. His biggest role, however, comes in the form of another superhero. We are, of course, talking about his performance as Steve Rogers, a.k.a., Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
From Captain America: The First Avenger to Avengers: Endgame, Evans portrayed the Star-Spangled Man in 11 MCU movies before retiring the role in the latter. If rumors are to be believed, however, he could be about to make a sensational comeback to the role.
In the meantime, though, Evans has been in the headlines for a different reason as fans are speculating that he might be dating singer and actress Selena Gomez. Another superstar, Gomez has enjoyed a lengthy career in music, film and TV (which is a remarkable accomplishment considering she’s just 29!).

The rumors of Chris Evans and Selena Gomez dating all started when Twitter users claimed that the pair were seen leaving the same studio and restaurant at separate times, using paparazzi shots. However, the rumors were debunked when it was revealed that the shots of Gomez were from 2019 and the shots of Evans were from summer 2020.
The one piece of evidence that does hold up is that Chris Evans recently followed Selena Gomez on Instagram but that’s hardly indication that they are dating. Moreover, Gomez has yet to follow him back.

Chris Evans is currently single but there were rumors of him having a new girlfriend earlier this summer. The truth is that, even though his public relationship status is single, we don’t know if he is dating anyone right now.
While he and Gomez would certainly be a powerful duo, it’s best to wait for any kind of official confirmation from either one of them given that most evidence of this relationship rumor has been debunked.
