Eternals spoilers: Does Eternals have a post-credits scene?

Should we be sticking around after the credits roll on Marvel’s Eternals? Is there a post-credits scene?

Marvel’s Eternals is upon us. The ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe brings itself back to the silver screen for the third time this year with its first ensemble film since the groundbreaking Avengers: Endgame and now it looks to introduce audiences to a host of new superheroes in the Eternals.

With a star-studded cast featuring the likes of Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie, Eternals will see the titular heroes emerge from obscurity to fight their evil counterparts known as the Deviants.

The movie recently had its world premiere, resulting in even more excitement from fans because it means that the movie is that much closer than before. However, it also comes with the inevitable questions. Questions about the film’s placement in the MCU, its ties to other films and whether or not those rumors about Harry Styles playing Thanos’ brother Eros of Titan are true.

With MCU movies, the one question that we have about all of them, though, is if we should remain in the movie theaters after the end credits begin rolling. More often that not, the answer is yes, but does Eternals have any mid or post-credits scenes?

We can confirm that there will be some post-credits action in Eternals. So, yes, when those credits start rolling, do not leave the movie theater until the very end.

How many post credits scenes does Eternals contain?

Eternals features two post credit scenes. Speaking to Fandango, director Chloe Zhao confirmed that there will indeed be two big surprises after the film’s initial conclusion, commenting:

"“Don’t just stay for the first one — also stay for the second one, too. They are equally as important in weight, and both have big surprises for you.”"

Is Harry Styles in the post credits scene of Marvel’s Eternals as Eros?

There has been no confirmation as to whether or not Harry Styles will appear in Eternals. Rumors have placed him in the movie for about a year now, with those rumors claiming he will play Starfox/Eros of Titan – the brother of Thanos – in the post-credits scene.

Guess we’re just going to have to wait and see the actual film in order to know if those rumors are true.
