Throg helps Thor in new comic book

Comic book: Thor No. 18

After Thor had Mjolnir stolen from Avengers tower (Thor No. 17), he needed to get it back without worrying the rest of the Nine Realms. His time as king is being called, “The black reign of the Thunder King.”

At first, Thor went to Loki and acted like he needed him to find it, when he really wanted help. Loki tells Thor to get a spy. As a result, the God of Thunder goes to Throg who already gathered his team (Odin’s Ravens, Lockjaw, Lockheed, and Bats) four days before Thor met him.

Taskmaster is after Tiana Toomes

Comic book: Miles Morales: Spider-Man No. 31

Miles Morales and Tiana Toomes (a.k.a. Starling) were enjoying quality time together until Taskmaster started chasing them with his array of arrows. Miles thinks that Marvel villain is after him, but that’s not the case.

Taskmaster knocks Tiana out, and takes her away. We don’t know where they’re going yet but Tasky is most likely taking her to her grandfather Arian Toomes (a.k.a. the Vulture).

Captain Marvel buried alive

Comic book: Captain Marvel No. 33

Captain Marvel was attacked by multiple people with ties to the Marvel hero name as well as other people close to her. We later found out that her former enemy Vox Supreme (see Captain Marvel: The Last Avenger) was behind it and that he was taking them to harvest their DNA.

Carol thought she could handle this on her own, but walked into a trap. Vox knocked her out, put her in the same “coffin” he was put in, and sent her out into space with no help, way of contacting anyone, or means to escape.
