Prepared to be stunned by Harry Styles rumored massive Marvel deal
By Cody Schultz
Harry Styles might have only appeared in one brief scene in Marvel’s Eternals, but the future is looking incredibly bright for the musician turned actor!
Minor Eternals spoilers ahead.
In the first of the film’s two post-credits scenes, Styles made his long-rumored Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the role of the Royal Prince of Titan, Starfox/Eros. It was a moment that filled fans with excitement and curiosity over what the future might hold for Styles within the MCU now that he’s officially made his debut in one of cinema’s most successful franchises ever.
While his debut in Eternals made it obvious there are bigger plans in place for the character, new reports suggest Marvel has big plans in place for Styles!
According to reports from Giant Freakin Robot, Marvel is said to be betting big on Styles by signing the actor to a five-picture deal. Even more, it’s reported that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has promised big things to come for Styles’ character with a solo Starfox/Eros project apparently already on the table.
What’s next for Harry Styles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
At this time, Marvel has not yet revealed when we might next see Harry Styles suit up as Eros/Starfox; however, if the latest rumors about his Marvel deal are to be believed it’s likely we could see him back on our screens sometime in the near future.
With a five-picture deal locked down, it’s possible we could see Styles as early as July 2022’s Thor Love and Thunder. While it’s unlikely Styles will appear as part of the film’s principal cast, we have a feeling it could pop up in the film’s post-credits scene as Marvel continues to lay the groundwork for what’s to come for the character in the MCU.
Harry Styles movies
Surprisingly, Eternals was only Harry Styles’ second-ever acting credit though that will all change very soon — his first acting credit coming in the Oscar-nominated Dunkirk.
In addition to a larger role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe coming which will see him appearing in a number of projects, Styles is set to star in two films in 2022 with roles in Don’t Worry Darling and My Policeman.
