On Nov. 12, Disney will celebrate the two-year anniversary of Disney Plus in style with yet another day of exciting news and announcements.

While Disney hasn’t yet revealed what titles might be revealed next or what news could be coming, we do know the day will bring news connected to all of the company’s biggest brands including Marvel which is expected to have a major presence once again on Disney Plus Day 2021.

In addition to new projects, the hope among many is that Disney Plus Day could be used to tease additional seasons of some of Marvel’s previously released series or perhaps give a hint of what’s to come next for the characters should renewals not be in the cards.

Will WandaVision season 2 be announced on Disney Plus Day?

One announcement many fans are hoping for on Disney Plus Day is a WandaVision renewal, which isn’t too surprising given the show’s success. A season 2 reveal would definitely major news for fans, but it’s not expected that Disney will be announcing WandaVision season 2 during Disney Plus Day.

Is WandaVision season 2 happening?

From the beginning, Disney was always clear that some Marvel series would be one-season shows while others would have the potential to continue for multiple seasons. Thus far, the only live-action Disney Plus Marvel show to get a second season has been Loki and, despite WandaVision‘s breakout success, there does not appear to be any plans for a second season of the show.

What seems more likely is that Disney might use Disney Plus Day to confirm the rumored Kathryn Hahn spinoff series, which would see Hahn returning as Agatha Harkness.
