Will we get an Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer during Disney Plus Day 2021?

The future of the Star Wars cinematic franchise might remain a mystery, but the future is looking bright for the franchise’s small-screen presence!

Not only do we have new seasons of current hits like The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch in the works, but Disney Plus will soon become home to several new Star Wars series including December’s The Book of Boba Fett and the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series featuring the returns of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen as Obi-Wan and Darth Vader.

Directed by Deborah Chow, Obi-Wan Kenobi will see McGregor reprising his role of Obi-Wan in what is being described as an event series set 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Aside from the returns of McGregor and Christensen, little is known about the upcoming series which has left fans eager for their first trailer for the project and what it could reveal.

While we’ve been recently gifted to the trailer for The Book of Boba Fett, Disney has yet to drop the trailer for Obi-Wan — or even just a teaser for the project — which has many fans optimistic about a teaser coming on Disney Plus Day as one of the many reveals planned for the global event.

Heading into Disney Plus Day, there is a hope among fans that we might receive the first teaser or trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi and it’s starting to look quite likely that one could be coming at some point during the day.

Ahead of Disney Plus Day, a trailer was said to have leaked which wove together clips from past films and concept art for the series. While it’s hard to tell if the leak was legitimate, the timing of its release seems promising and makes it highly likely a trailer could be coming at some point during Disney Plus Day.

While it doesn’t seem we’ll be treated to any new footage from the series, we’ll happily take any first look Disney is willing to provide us even if only in the form of concept art. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words.
