But Riverdale season 6 didn’t just kick off its own season. No, it kicked off the mysterious and dark five-episode event known as “Rivervale”, showing fans what that town could look like if it went even darker than it already is.
The first episode was a mind-boggling affair that left fans confused, upset and in awe as inexplicable events went down and the town watched as Cheryl Blossom drove a knife into Archie Andrews’ chest, extracting his heart in the process and seemingly killing the longtime Riverdale leading man.
Archie’s fate remains uncertain and fans don’t know what to expect, but what will the show produce when it returns on Tuesday night for the second installment of the five-episode event, right after The Flash does the same thing.
