Hawkeye made an impact with its first two episodes, but what can fans expect from the third episode?

After 2020 was the first year with no Marvel Cinematic Universe movie in over a decade, Marvel Studios made sure to treat fans to what can only be described as an unforgettable year when it comes to new content. Of course, there were more movies to enjoy (such as Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), but it also made history by bringing the MCU to the Disney Plus streaming service in the form of multiple original shows.

After the respective successes of WandaVisionThe Falcon and the Winter SoldierLoki, and Marvel’s What If…?, it’s no surprise that the Disney Plus era of the MCU has become an integral part of the franchise. And with Hawkeye closing out the year with a bang, that will undoubtedly continue into 2022.

Hawkeye opened on a memorable note as the first two episodes were released on Disney Plus this week, with a new one set to follow each Wednesday for the next four weeks. Those two episodes had their moments and they have set the stage for an interesting adventure.

What’s next for the show after that though? What can we expect from the third episode? Well here’s everything we know about episode 3!

Hawkeye episode 3 plot synopsis

An official synopsis has not yet been released for the third episode of Hawkeye. However, we know that the partnership between Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) will continue to develop as the pair attempt to dodge the threats that come their way and make it back to their families in time for Christmas.

With the introduction of Echo in the conclusion of the show’s second episode, the third episode will give us an idea of who she is and help lay the groundwork for her upcoming spin-off series. It will also focus on Clint and Kate’s attempts to escape from their current situation – something that we know from the trailer will lead to a high-speed chase through New York.

Marvel’s Hawkeye episode 3 streams exclusively on Disney+ next Wednesday, December 1, at 12:01 a.m. PT and 3:01 a.m. ET.
