What Marvel Comics characters could appear in season 1 of Disney Plus’ Hawkeye.

The first two episodes of Hawkeye were fantastic. So far, the show has done two things crucial to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First, Clint Barton was reinvented . He had moments of levity in the MCU. In Hawkeye, he’s been more like his comic book counterpart. A plus for him going forward. Second, and most important, the introduction of Kate Bishop was done flawlessly. She is everything that fans could want from a character. This shows that her future is bright.

When it comes to Marvel Studios shows, you can always expect to see someone new make their MCU debut. This is a trend that has already continued with Hawkeye. Jack Duquesne isn’t just some random guy engaged to Kate’s mother. He’s a character in Marvel Comics named Swordsman. We can guess he will be that in Hawkeye.

With Clint, Kate, and Maya Lopez (a.k.a. Echo) involved, there are connections to their characters. Since there have been nods to the Matt Fraction Hawkeye run, some of the heroes and villains in that series could show up as well. With that in mind, here are some Marvel Comics characters we could see appear in the Disney Plus series.

8. Cassandra Lang

Cassandra Lang already exists in the MCU. She was one of the people that survived Thanos’ snap. When her father Scott Lang (a.k.a. Ant-Man) returned home, his little girl was a teenager.

The casual fan may not know this, but Cassie is one of the original Marvel Comics’ Young Avengers. Instead of shrinking like Ant-Man, however, she grows and becomes Stature. Having her appear quickly would be a good way to remind people that she – and Kate Bishop – could be on the future Young Avengers roster.
