5 best moments from WandaVision in 2021

2. Scarlet Witch reading the Darkhold
The post-credits scene of WandaVision started with Wanda sitting outside of a cabin. For the first time in decades, she seemed at peace. That wasn’t the case. Inside of the cabin, the Scarlet Witch was studying the Darkhold. She was in a trance-like state and seemed pretty close to being, well, evil.
The biggest takeaway here is that Agatha told Wanda that the Darkhold can show her how to alter reality – something that causes Wanda to lose control of her powers and her mind in Marvel Comics (see Avengers: Disassembled and House of M for more on that). If she loses control in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she’ll more than likely become the most dangerous person in the universe.
1. Agatha All Along
There was no way this couldn’t be the number one moment. The reveal was obvious. Agatha Harkness wasn’t going to be just the kooky neighbor. As incredible as Kathryn Hahn was in the role, that would have been a waste of the rich character. Finding out that the fan theories were true and that she was pulling the strings all along was cool, but the the best part was undoubtedly that unforgettable song.
“Agatha All Along” wasn’t just a fun and catchy song. It won an Emmy Award and has now been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media. That’s how impressive the music was. But it also helped add to the story it was telling, with the sequence showcasing all of the moments where Agatha was pulling the strings.
However, killing Sparky was cruel!
