4. Disney Plus shows

As great as the MCU movies are, this writer believes the shows are better. Marvel’s Disney Plus projects have something that the movies will never have. They have the time to tell a proper story.

Comic book stories are full of material. Sometimes, for the sake of the movie, things will be taken out. Unfortunately, that can often make the movie suffer. We saw this most often in 20th Century Fox X-Men projects. The Disney Plus shows, however, don’t have this problem. They use the source material and blend it in with the MCU’s original adaptation perfectly. This ultimately helps tell a story that connects to the MCU movies.

One part to remember is that these Marvel/Disney Plus shows are still in their infancy phase. There are some issues that will eventually be worked out. Nonetheless, even with the problems, Marvel is still putting out quality shows.

3. Marvel is fun

Sometimes, you don’t want to watch a show or movie that’s going to bring you down. Reality can hit you and keep on going. The MCU has provided the escapism needed. All of the bright colors, action, and jokes help keep viewers smiling. Hawkeye has shown that there can be a perfect balance of everything without the “premiere” Avengers. It should give people hope that Echo, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk will do the same.
