This Tuesday, a new episode of Riverdale season 6 airs on The CW. The long-running TV series returns with the fifth installment of its five-episode-event – one that will no doubt leave viewers in a state of shock, especially as it’s the show’s 100th episode.

The event, known as Rivervale, is seemingly set in a parallel reality in which the town is known as “Rivervale” instead of “Riverdale” and it’s a lot creepier than the show normally is – which says a lot given that it’s bonkers all the time.

With inexplicable events occurring (and yet few of them bothering the residents of Rivervale), we have already seen the death of one of the show’s main characters (and yet the rest acting as though all is normal) and the rise of La Llorona.

After the supernatural made its presence felt on the show last week via a crossover fans have been waiting years. Yes, Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) showed up as the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star worked with Cheryl Blossom to free her own soul. And if you thought that was strange, just wait until the 100th episode brings the Rivervale event to a close.
