4. Venom becomes King
Marvel comic book: King in Black No. 5 (of 5)
Knull (the king and creator of the symbiotes) encased Earth in a giant symbiote shell. No light could get in and his creatures were running wild all over the world. When all hope seemed lost, the Enigma Force inhabited Eddie Brock’s body and, with that, Eddie defeated the King in Black in spectacular fashion. He used the Silver Surfer’s sword (made from his surfboard) and Mjölnir to take him down.
Venom’s victory was huge. He defeated an ancient god that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes couldn’t defeat. To top it all off, he used two weapons that he shouldn’t have been able to control. The victory was great, but seeing him defeat Knull with an axe made of Mjölnir and the Power Cosmic was even better.
3. No More Avengers

Mephisto found a way to change the world. Captain America was never thawed out, Thor didn’t have his hammer, Tony Stark wasn’t Iron Man, and so much more was different. In this world, the Squadron Supreme were the biggest heroes in the universe. And, in some ways, the universe was safer. The only problem was that Mephisto was Earth’s god.
Of course, the Avengers come back and put things back in order. However, the Squadron Supreme remember their old world and want their reality back. In Avengers No. 50, Power Princess and Blur get together with Red Widow to form a team. This will become an issue for the Avengers in the upcoming year.
