Superman: 13 Marvel Comics characters who can beat the Injustice Man of Steel
By Mark Lynch
8. All Father Thor
If you surveyed Marvel Comics fans, most of them would say that Thor has the best chance of defeating Superman. Of course, there’s the magic hammer; everyone knows that it’s something that could take Kal-El down. We’ve also seen lightning hurt him. But that’s not all. Ever since the War of the Realms, Thor has become even more powerful and protective of the Nine Realms.
If the Injustice Superman came to the Marvel Universe, he’d expect Thor to bend his knee to him. Thor would never do that. Once that happens, the All Father would unleash all of his power. That’s including Mjolnir and the Thor Force. Something that was strong enough to destroy Galactus.

7. Immortal Hulk
This isn’t the Hulk Superman fought before. This also isn’t the Hulk who speaks in the third person and talks like a child. This is the Devil Hulk. A conniving, merciless, gamma infused powerhouse with a PhD in hurting people. Ask anyone who fought him during the 50 issue run of Immortal Hulk. Even when he lost, he somehow wanted it to happen.
The biggest downfall for this Superman would be trying to fight the Hulk using only his strength and heat vision. He’d assume the Devil Hulk is just another Solomon Grundy and end up literally losing his head. The Devil Hulk would take every advantage and capitalize on them. He once choked Thor with his arm by letting it regrow over his face. That is the kind of smart and cruel the Devil Hulk is.
