4. Storm

Storm ruled 2021. She became the Regent of the Sole Solar System and the Speaker for the mutant planet Arakko (formerly Mars) – both of which are jobs that she takes seriously. Since taking the titles, Storm has been challenged by mutants of Arakko, Doctor Doom, Orchis, and enemies of the Shi’ar Empire. She defeated them all. Unfortunately, this won’t be the last of her challenges.

Superstar artist  Russell Dauterman designed a new costume for Storm going into the Destiny of X era. A new uniform almost always means something big. In this case, it’ll be bigger than being the speaker for an entire solar system. Whatever that is, Storm will be more than ready.

3. Destiny

Irene Adler (Destiny) is back and has made her presence felt in X-Men: Inferno. She’s on the Quiet Council of Krakoa and helped stop Moira MacTaggert from taking powers away from mutants. But this is only the beginning. There are big things coming for the X-Men and the mutants of Krakoa. And, if the title Destiny of X is a clue, Irene Adler will be in the middle of it.

Destiny’s ability to see the future has shown how things in the future may go. However, they don’t always show one path. For example, in X-Men: Inferno 4 of 4, she mentioned that she doesn’t know exactly what Moira’s future holds. It depends on what she does next. Destiny could be the key to saving the Krakoa from the rise of the machines.
