12. Batman
Comic book project: The Batman (in theaters)
There’s a lot riding on The Batman. Many of the recent DC Comics movies have not been all that well-received. Granted, they almost always make their money back. But there are still fans unhappy with Warner Bros.’ decision to pivot in a new direction in the DCEU and reboot the Batman franchise. And then there are those who still can’t get past the fact that Robert Pattinson was once in Twilight and actually realize how good he is (and will be in The Batman).
From what we’ve seen, Pattinson looks great as Batman in the trailers. So far, he’s more aggressive than any Caped Crusader we’ve seen in the past. This is a great sign so let’s keep the faith that he will once again defy expectations in the movie.
11. Catwoman
Comic book project: The Batman (in theaters)
Zoë Kravitz could be one of the best castings we’ll ever see. She exudes that sensuality and confidence that Selina Kyle is renowned for. And, of course, she’s a phenomenal actress. Big Little Lies and Mad Max: Fury Road are only a couple of the projects she appeared in in which she was incredible.
Look for her to deliver as Catwoman in The Batman. In fact, this writer will go further. Not only will she knock it out of the park, she will be the MVP of The Batman. You heard it here first.
