Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, Vin Diesel

Undoubtedly one of the most star-studded non-Avenger movies in the MCU, Thor: Love and Thunder will see Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder return for a fourth solo outing.

However, he isn’t the only one wielding one of Asgard’s mystical weapons, as former love Jane Foster will return to screens for the first time since 2013’s Thor: The Dark World and is set to follow in her comic book counterpart’s footsteps by wielding Mjolnir and becoming the Mighty Thor.

Ms. Marvel

Release date: Summer 2022

Starring: Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur

The MCU’s newest superhero will take flight when Ms. Marvel hits Disney Plus in the summer. The six-part series stars Iman Vellani in the title role, as superfan Kamala Khan evolves into a hero of her own. And it will also serve as a launching pad for the character before she co-stars in 2023’s much-anticipated The Marvels alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris.

Ms. Marvel was initially supposed to be the last of Marvel Studios’ Disney Plus shows to grace our screens in 2021, but it was taken off the calendar when Hawkeye replaced it. It was never made explicitly clear why Marvel did that, but the likely explanation was Hawkeye being a Christmas show. Nevertheless, it was subsequently confirmed that the show would now stream in summer 2022 instead.
