Is Daredevil season 3 available to buy on DVD or Blu-ray?

Marvel’s Daredevil will be leaving Netflix next month, but can you finally complete your collection with season 3 on Blu-ray or DVD?

Marvel fans were stunned to hear that Daredevil (along with offshoots Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher) would be leaving Netflix at the beginning of March.

The Charlie Cox-led series was among the streamer’s most well-received original offerings, but its unexpected cancellation in 2018 left the future of the character up in the air for many years. That is, until the rights for those characters reverted to Disney – a move that has set the show’s departure from the streamer in motion.

The show’s impending exit has left fans questioning its future on streaming, with Disney Plus (or the Disney-owned Hulu) seeming like the most likely option. But nothing has been confirmed yet in regards to where the show is going to go, and thus fans want to know how they can hold onto it while they wait for it to resurface in the future.

The obvious choice for that would be to purchase it on DVD or Blu-ray. The problem is that season 3 wasn’t released on home media at the time. Have there been any updates since?

Is Daredevil season 3 available on Blu-ray and DVD?

The first two seasons of Daredevil were released on DVD and Blu-ray in multiple locations around the world. Unfortunately, season 3 is not available to purchase in any of those formats.

It seems that the show’s cancellation, and the decision to move away from the Marvel Netflix shows in general, killed all hopes and dreams of giving the third season a home media release.

While Marvel Studios’ Disney Plus shows have yet to make their way to home media releases, there is always the chance that Daredevil season 3 could finally find its way onto DVD and Blu-ray now that the rights have reverted back to Disney (if, for nothing else, just to complete the collection!).

In the meantime, though, you can purchase all three seasons of Daredevil digitally on VOD services such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Vudu and YouTube.
