Everything to know about the Ms. Marvel actress Iman Vellani in the upcoming Disney Plus series.

It’s been a long time coming but we finally got our first trailer for the upcoming Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel.

The internet has since been in a state of meltdown with audiences excited for the arrival of the show, which was first supposed to debut back in fall 2021.

The title role will be played by Iman Vellani. That was confirmed back in 2020 and ever since, fans have been excited to see her debut in the role. And now, thanks to the trailer, we know she’s set to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next lovable hero.

We’re all undoubtedly very excited to see what Iman Vellani brings to the table as Kamala Khan, but since it’ll be a while before Ms. Marvel hits screens, let’s get to know the up-and-coming star that little bit better.

Iman Vellani is reportedly either 19 or 20. Her birthday is unknown at this point but she was born in either 2001 or 2002.

Iman Vellani does not appear to have an Instagram account right now. After it was confirmed that she would be playing Ms. Marvel, fans were quick to see if she had an account. However, in spite of a lot of fake accounts being set up, Iman doesn’t have one.

Iman Vellani roles

As confirmed by Deadline, Ms. Marvel will serve as Iman Vellani’s first role in a major Hollywood production. However, she was part of the Next Wave Committee at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, who were committed to adding a special tag to films they felt would resonate with their peers.

Moreover, she will reprise her role as Kamala Khan in The Marvels next year, appearing alongside Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Teyonah Paris’ Monica Rambeau.

Fans are very excited to see her in action in Ms. Marvel and this will no doubt kick off a very promising career for the young star.
