2. He killed Galactus

Comic book: Thor: The Devourer King

After lying to Thor, the Odinson reminded him that he’s not to be messed with. The God of Thunder stole all of Galactus’ powers and used them against him. After killing Galactus, Thor put his helmet on the Rainbow Bridge as a warning to everyone who’d threaten Asgard.

1. Thor dominated Iron Man in a fight

Comic book: Thor No. 3 (by J. Michael Straczynski)

In the first Avengers movie, Iron Man and Thor had a fight. The movie showed Iron Man holding his own against his soon to be teammate. The Marvel comic book, however, displayed a different version of how that fight would conclude. The God of Thunder defeated Iron Man easily.

Not only did Tony Stark lose, he was embarrassed. Stark used his maximum power and the Odinson didn’t flinch. He just stood there like he was waiting for a bus. When Stark tried to bring the fight in close, he was swatted away like a baseball. After the Odinson disabled Stark’s armor with a lightning electromagnetic pulse, Stark was reminded that one of them is a god and the other is a mortal in a metal suit.
