32. Finn Wittrock

Finn Wittrock had this writer’s full attention during American Horror Story: Freak Show. He played a petulant, rich, and spoiled character. When he first started, he seemed more like the Mad Hatter. Then the season continued. He became a heartless and laughing killer with a huge smile. You can probably see where this is going.

Wittrock could pull the Joker off almost exactly like he did in the show. All the creative team would have to do is give him some creepy Joker-like lines. We’ve also seen how he snaps into a crazy rage in Ratched. Even though he’s scheduled to be Guy Gardner in a Green Lantern TV series (amazing pick), a writer can dream. Plus, it’s still possible if they’re not in the same universe as The Batman.

31. Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm is one of this writer’s favorite actors. He’s the kind of guy that can do drama (see Mad Men), but knows not to take himself seriously. His appearances on 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are perfect examples of this. Instead of something serious that we know he’s capable of, let’s keep him goofy. There’s no better place for him to do that than on Harley Quinn.

Jon Hamm would be perfect as Thomas Wayne. Yes, Bruce Wayne’s father is dead. However, there’s the Flashpoint timeline where he’s alive and Bruce is dead. There’s a chance that Harley could end up in a goofier version of the Flashpoint universe. It could be an episode or two where she’s meeting different versions of her crew while Jon Hamm’s Thomas Wayne is trying to get her as far away from him as possible. That would be an unforgettable episode.
