6. A-Train betrays Starlight

Part of Queen Maeve’s plan was to recruit as many superpowered people as possible. The hope is that they can overwhelm him long enough for Butcher to use the weapon that took down Soldier Boy (more on that later). Too bad Supersonic tried to recruit A-Train. The former speedster told Homelander all about Starlight trying to bring him in.

After getting into a fight with The Deep, Supersonic (formerly Drummerboy) told A-Train about Starlight’s plan. Supersonic was trying to help Starlight, but it led to his death. Later, Homelander brings Starlight to a roof and shows her Supersonic’s dead body. Homelander says if she tries a coup again that he’ll kill Hughie.

5. The Boys are revolting

Butcher made a deal with Little Nina to kill someone to get to Russia without any issues. The only person who could successfully do the job is Kimiko. Kimiko said that she’s not a gun. Butcher tells her that it’s exactly what she is. That didn’t sit well with Marvin Milk, Hughie, and definitely not Frenchie.

Little by little, The Boys are getting tired of what Butcher’s doing. Butcher is keeping secrets from his team and treating them poorly. At the end of the episode, M.M. stated that Butcher no longer has his trust or his leadership. He doesn’t like how cavalier Butcher was about Kimiko being hurt (more on that in the last slide).
