Superman and Lois season 3 is happening, but when can viewers expect the show to return to The CW?

Superman and Lois has been one of the biggest success stories that The CW has seen in recent years. The Arrowverse series follows Tyler Hoechlin’s Man of Steel and Elizabeth Tulloch’s intrepid reporter as the two iconic DC characters navigate life as heroes, public figures and parents.

The second season has been airing on The CW since January this year, with the show notoriously taking a number of lengthy breaks throughout its run. Even with those hiatuses, season 2 reaches its conclusion in a shocking finale that sees the culmination of the primary arcs.

With Ally Allston now in the rear-view mirror and Smallville safe once again, Clark Kent, Lois Lane and their family and friends can relax for a long overdue summer break.

As for when they will come back, we do know that Superman and Lois has been renewed for a third season. The question is: When will it air?

Superman and Lois season 3 will premiere on The CW in 2023. The network recently unveiled its line-up for fall 2022 and the show wasn’t on it, which wasn’t that surprising given that the previous two seasons have also debuted at the start of the year, with season 1 coming in February 2021 and season 2 in February 2022.

With that in mind, it’s likely that Superman and Lois‘ third season will debut sometime between January and March 2023. Regardless of when it premieres, you can rest assured that audiences will be tuning in to catch up with the Fam of Steel.
