The Flash season 8 returns to The CW with a brand new episode. Here’s how to watch the twentieth installment, the season finale, “Negative, Part 2”, online.
This Wednesday, The Flash airs a brand new episode on The CW. The network’s veteran superhero series returns with what is undoubtedly set to be a huge season finale.
Fresh off the news that it has been renewed (along with fellow Arrowverse series Superman and Lois), The Flash will make history with its ninth season as the longest running Arrowverse series, surpassing its predecessor Arrow. However, it still has plenty of its eighth season left for fans to enjoy.
Speaking of which, The Flash season 8 has been entertaining fans with some standalone episodes in the aftermath of its five-episode-event (“Armageddon”).
Recent episodes have seen Team Flash preoccupied with stopping the terrifying Black Flame, but it turns out that the entity was actually Caitlin Snow’s thought-to-be-dead husband Ronnie Raymond… or was it? It wasn’t Firestorm that emerged from the flames, but the villainous Deathstorm – an undead echo of Ronnie left behind when he seemingly died. And it all led to a noble sacrifice for a beloved member of Team Flash.
Meanwhile, Iris West-Allen is continuing to struggle with her Time Sickness – something that has had drastic consequences. And now, it is all building towards the conclusion of that story with the season 8 finale.
