Ms. Marvel: 5 crucial moments from episode 4
By Mark Lynch
2. The Clandestine leave Kamran
Back in America, the Clandestine are being held captive by the Department of Damage Control. As they’re being taken somewhere within their facility, Kamran manages to take out one of the D.O.D.C. guards. The rest of the Clandestine follow his lead and they escape, but not before Kamran takes a hit from a D.O.D.C. gun and gets knocked out.
Before they leave, Najma tells one of her own to leave Kamran. While he did help them escape, Kamran protected Kamala from them. Najma said he’s made his decision. All this should do is prove to Kamran that he made the right decision by helping Ms. Marvel. They abandoned him while Kamala would never leave him on his own.
1. Ms. Marvel transported
Kamala, Kareem, and Waleed are attacked by the Clandestine (who somehow made it across the country quickly). After a chase scene, Waleed is killed by Najma after saving Kamala from one of the Clandestine. While Kareem and Kamala are fighting, Najma attempts to stab Kamala, but her strike is blocked by Kamala’s bracelet. That causes Kamala to be transported away.
She ends up in the past when Kamala’s grandmother last used her powers. Now fans have to wonder if Kamala is actually in the past herself or if she’s actually her grandmother re-enacting what happened in the past.
