Connection to The Boys comic book

Black Noir being killed shocked a lot of people. This writer was under the impression that Noir was too popular and too fun a character to be killed off. In a sense, he thinks he was right. Earving isn’t crucial to the rest of The Boys story. He served his purpose in season 3 by being one the reasons why Soldier Boy was captured by the Russians (more on that later). Plus, he was a plot device to help make Homelander become even more reckless and ruthless. That said, Earving is dead, but Black Noir could live on.

In The Boys comics, Black Noir was created to kill Homelander. He was a clone of The Seven’s leader. It’s the reason you never see his face until The Boys: Over the hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men. That’s when Mother’s Milk finds out who Black Noir is and why he was created. By then, Billy Butcher saw Noir’s true face and realized who was really behind all of the wild things that Homelander did. Most importantly to Butcher, the person who assaulted his wife. It was really Black Noir dressed as Homelander.

How does this connect to The Boys on Amazon Prime? Vought International could bring him back.
