4. Kate Mara

Before it’s said, yes, Kate Mara was already in a Fantastic Four project and it was the worst comic book movie of all time. That said, she wasn’t the problem. Kate Mara is a great actress. She rocked in American Horror Story and House of Cards. While those are completely different roles than an MCU project would be, she showed she can do the job.

When Mara is serious or out for revenge, she’s believable. Now, picture her given a second chance to display that as Sue Storm. The Invisible Woman isn’t known for her jokes. She’s remembered for being serious and dangerous. Give her a second chance to be the Invisible Woman she should have been.

3. Amanda Seyfried

Here we have another accomplished actress. Someone who’s done drama, action, comedy, TV, and movies. Recently, she played Elizabeth Holmes in Hulu’s Dropout. To this writer, it’s her best performance to date – showing yet again that she’s incredible in everything she’s in.

Amanda Seyfried has been in an action film (Sucker Punch), but it’s not her go to genre. She also hasn’t been in a ton of comedies, but she was incredible in Ted 2 (even if the movie was disappointing). All that’s left is for her to combine the two. It can be done in Fantastic Four.
