Superman

We’ve waited way too long for a Superman film. Man of Steel was released nearly a decade ago. The face of DC should be Warner Discovery’s top priority given that Henry Cavill is in high demand. MoS fans have wanted to see him return in a follow-up to Zack Snyder’s film.

Snyder barely scratched the surface with Superman. We got nothing more than a glimpse of the Krypton native’s life as Clark Kent. We know he and Lois got engaged, which could give us a version of the hero on the big screen we haven’t seen. The CW has done a good job with Clark and Lois balancing their life. However, we could see the struggle.

The sequel could set up Brainiac in the DCEU while introducing Kara Zor El to the big screen. The timeline would differ from Flashpoint. This version of Kara would see her dropped into her cousin and fiancé’s lap. Imagine seeing Clark showing Kara how to become a Superhero while Brainiac is threatening to take over the world. Kara’s familiarity with Brainiac, Lois’ grit, and intellect mixed with Superman’s experience, the trio could take down Brainiac.

Naturally, Kara’s inclusion could give the green light to a solo movie about an intergalactic coming-of-age story. Another option for a movie could include Lobo as the big bad. The foul-mouth intergalactic bounty hunter could make his DCEU debut in search of Kara. Nothing should happen without Superman getting his sequel first.
