Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins season 4 of The Boys
By Mark Lynch
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the most recent amazing cast member to join The Boys season 4 on Amazon Prime Video.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an actor that fans get excited to see whenever he’s cast in anything. John Winchester in Supernatural, The Comedian in Watchmen, and Negan Smith in The Walking Dead are only a few of the examples of projects that he’s shined in as an actor.
If you’re a fan of The Boys, you now have more of a reason to be pumped for season 4. Deadline reports that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is the most recent addition to Amazon Prime’s hit streaming show. The character he is playing is currently a mystery but it will be a recurring guest star role.
The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke worked with Morgan when he was on Supernatural. This means he knows first hand what Morgan is capable of. So much so that he wanted him to be part of season 4 of The Boys.
While speaking with E! News, Kripke said that Morgan is a superfan of the show and that they were “trying to figure out something for season four.” Well, it looks like they found a way to make it happen.
This news comes fresh off of more casting news. The Boys recently added Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry to season 4, while Cameron Crovetti was promoted to full time cast member. This writer loved that news but he knew more was coming.
Aya Cash (Stormfront) and Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy) raised the bar with casting for the show. That meant whoever was next had to be just as popular. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a brilliant pick. Whoever he plays will blow people’s minds. Considering the show, that could mean literally or figuratively.
