2. The Hellfire Club

It’s easy to hate the Hellfire Club. They dress like jerks and they’re a group of rich elites who control things by blackmailing people. As if that isn’t bad enough, they almost caused the destruction of the world. They arrogantly thought they could control the Phoenix Force. All of the disdain for them is why they’d make great villains.

A lot of people would detest them as soon as they start speaking. They talk down to people because they feel like they’re everyone’s better. Most people have had an interaction with someone like that. This will give fans an emotional response to them. Since Marvel Studios could use more antagonists like this, it’s a perfect fit.

With the Hellfire Club comes Emma Frost. She’s been an X-Man so long that people may forget that she used to be evil. Seeing her go from a villain to a hero is important to her origin and the X-Men’s story. She eventually helps the team and  becomes a teacher at Xavier’s school and in Genosha. It may not seem interesting on paper, but watching how much she loves teaching is among the biggest evolutions in all of comics. Especially considering her past and personality.
