Black Adam cast 2022: Who plays Black Adam, Dr. Fate and more

The Black Adam cast is set to introduce a wave of iconic DC characters into the DC Extended Universe and Warner Bros. has tapped some major stars to play them.

The future of the DC Extended Universe remains uncertain, but one thing that we do know is the DCEU is about to get a major injection of new blood that could prove to be enough to reinvigorate the struggling franchise.

With the release of Black Adam on Oct. 21, DC is set to introduce viewers to a handful of iconic DC Comics characters including many who will be making their live-action debuts in the new film. These characters could prove to be just what the DCEU needs right now and have the potential to play major roles in the future of the franchise moving forward.

While all eyes might be on Black Adam, the Black Adam cast is stacked full of A-list stars who have been tapped to play some beloved DC Comics characters.

Headlining the Black Adam cast in the title role is a man who is no stranger to leading major box office franchises. Bringing Black Adam to life on the big screen is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who will make his superhero film debut in Black Adam as the lead of what is an incredible ensemble that includes:

Of course, these are simply the named players that Warner Bros. has revealed in the promotional materials for the film. The film will also feature a handful of supporting players and could even feature a few surprise cameos with speculation growing over whether the likes of Viola Davis and Henry Cavill might appear in the film to reprise their roles as Amanda Waller and Superman.
