Will The Winchesters air a new episode tonight? (November 8, 2022)

Will there be a new episode of The Winchesters season 1 tonight on The CW?  When does season 1, episode 5 air?

The Winchesters on The CW hasn’t had the same kind of excitement and drama that Supernatural had. However, this isn’t Supernatural. The premise may be the same, but the shows, the cast, and the stories are different. They’re not even in the same time period. Because of that, fans may have been judging the show unfairly. Thankfully, it’s not a bad show. Plus The Winchesters isn’t even at the halfway mark of season 1 yet and the majority of the cast is fantastic.

Mary is the great hunter we saw in the latter seasons of Supernatural. She’s absolutely living up to her legend. Latika adds a much needed warmhearted and innocent person that helps balance out the sometimes aggressive moments. Carlos (this writer’s favorite character) continues to be fun and fans saw a deeper side of him in episode 4. John Winchester is coming into his own as a character, especially after how things ended with him in the previous episode.

Is The Winchesters new tonight, November 8?

Sadly, The Winchesters won’t air a new episode tonight. A specific reason wasn’t given for the one-week hiatus but it is likely down to the election coverage.

That said, when will it return?

When does The Winchesters season 1 return to The CW?

The Winchesters  season 1 will return to The CW next Tuesday, November 13, at 8:00 p.m. ET. Yes, that means the show is off for just one week and will be back on screens next week! And even with it being off this week, there is a bonus to that.

With The Winchesters being a new show, people who want to jump on have a week to catch up. As this article is being written, the first four episodes are available to stream for free on the CW website and the CW app. A one week hiatus will also allow fans the opportunity to rewatch the previous episodes to see what they missed.

The fifth episode of season 1 is titled “Legend of a Mind” and the description should give fans of the show a reason to get excited about the next season. The official description reveals that Millie will ask Mary to keep an eye on John “as they split off from the others to get intel on the new case.”
