If you’ve already been to see Black Panther 2, find out when the MCU returns with its next big Marvel movie. What comes after Wakanda Forever?

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been a long time coming, and to say that it’s going to be a big movie would be a major understatement. While the sequel to 2017’s critically-acclaimed Black Panther was always going to be a huge film, fans will be seeing Wakanda Forever to pay tribute to the late, great Chadwick Boseman, who sadly passed away in 2020.

The film is a touching tribute to the beloved actor, and the legendary character he played. It also sees a new Black Panther carry on his legacy, bringing the cinematic aspect of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to a close, all while setting the stage for its future.

Speaking of the MCU’s future, if you would like to know which Marvel Studios movie will be arriving on the big screen next, find out here.

What is Marvel’s next MCU movie after Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever?

The next cinematic outing from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. It is the third movie in the Ant-Man film series and will be the first chapter in Phase Five, premiering in movie theaters on February 17, 2023.

The first trailer for the movie was released in October and it gave us a glimpse of what to expect. With Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer all returning to their respective roles, it will see Scott, Hope, Hank, and Janet (along with Cassie Lang, now played by Kathryn Newton) get sucked into the Quantum Realm, where they discover that there is an entire secret civilization down there audiences previously didn’t know about.

The film will be particularly notable in building the Multiverse Saga going forward as Scott Lang will come face-to-face with Kang The Conqueror (with Jonathan Majors reprising his role as an alternate version of the character we saw in Loki). And, as Marvel fans know, Kang is gearing up to be the next Thanos-level threat of the MCU.
