The Walking Dead season 11 episode 24 is the series finale of the veteran series. When does it stream on AMC plus?

Bow your heads, tip your hats, and raise your glasses for The Walking Dead. The long-running AMC TV series comes to an end with its bumper-length series finale soon and fans are not ready.

With our survivors having overcome threats from the Governor, Negan, the Whisperers and more, they can finally rest easy – or, well, “Rest In Peace” if the title of the finale is anything to go by.

The series finale will air on AMC next Sunday, November 20, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, and 8:00 p.m. CT. However, the show normally streams its new episodes a week early for AMC+ subscribers. Will the same thing happen for The Walking Dead season 11 episode 24? When does the series finale stream?

Does The Walking Dead series finale stream on AMC Plus tonight?

Unfortunately, the series finale of The Walking Dead won’t stream on AMC Plus today. While episodes of the show have premiered a week early on the streamer in recent years, AMC made the decision to hold the series finale so that fans can watch it together at the same time.

In its place, a retrospective special titled The Walking Dead: The Making of the Final Season (which airs on AMC next week) will stream today instead.

When does The Walking Dead series finale air on AMC Plus?

The Walking Dead‘s series finale (season 11, episode 24) will premiere on AMC Plus on Sunday, November 20. Yes, that’s the same day that it airs on AMC on television.

This makes sense as it will likely see an increase in ratings for the special episode and ensure that spoilers don’t leak out early. Most important of all, though, it means that the TWD Family get to enjoy the experience together one more time before the show bows out. And with that, they can celebrate TWD‘s incredible longevity and its awesome legacy.
