The Winchesters on The CW is back this week with the sixth episode of its premiere season. Here’s how you can watch the newest episode of the Supernatural spin-off series live and online.

After seeing Ada put a demon in a plant in a previous episode of The Winchesters, you could tell that she had secrets about her life. Who would have thought that one of her secrets is that she had a son. While that’s not surprising, it’s who her son’s father is that’s shocking. Her son Tony is half Jinn. Because of this, she kept that part of her life hidden from her friends. Things wouldn’t be so bad if Tony didn’t find out that Ada was scared of him. That drove a wedge between them. In the end, their relationship was better, but far from perfect.

The biggest part was the hunters coming in contact with the Akrida for the first time. They almost took casualties when Mary was stung by one of them. If it wasn’t for Tony, Mary would have been part of the Akrida. This won’t be the last time that the crew comes in contact with them. In fact, don’t be shocked if it happens in the next episode.

The trope of having to fight a friend because they’re possessed is a staple in Supernatural. Sam and Dean had to fight each other and some of their other teammates and friends. According to the trailer below, it looks like John isn’t exempt from this. That means Mary will be pulling her punches when she’s fighting him. Eventually, she will probably mention or hint at having feelings for John. Or, while he’s possessed, John’s possessor will tell Mary how he truly feels. However, it may not be romantic feelings towards Mary. It could be how he’s been angrier since becoming a hunter.

The episode’s description teases that “John’s eagerness, and commitment to the Hunt” will worry Mary.” Ever since John’s encounter with Ares in The Winchesters episode 4 “Masters of War”, he’s been different. With this episode being close to the halfway mark, viewers can expect more of what’s to come with John. Don’t be shocked if being possessed puts him closer to the edge. That could force his friends and fellow hunters to question whether or not he’s right for the team.
