8. Green Lantern

If any upcoming Green Lantern project is scrapped by DC, it will be the biggest travesty so far. That’s saying a lot considering everything that’s already been scrapped. The Green Lanterns travel the universe helping beings of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Their corps is also full of beings like that as well. Because of this, DC Comics could have shown a beautiful and creative trip into space. This is a project that needs to be  developed.

A Green Lanterns project could be like Guardians of the Galaxy, but more serious. The Corps is made up of an eclectic group of aliens from all over the universe. There’s even one that’s a giant planet (Mogo). With all of these different personalities, beliefs, and looks, viewers would never get bored. It’s also an opportunity to show life lessons.

The best part of a Green Lanterns project is the vast amount of possible stars. There are at least nine humans that could star in their own movie or show. That’s on top of the countless aliens that have been introduced. Or, if DC Studios wanted to get creative, they could make an original character that debuts in the new DCEU. It wouldn’t be the first time a comic book character debuted outside of the comics. Harley Quinn’s first appearance came in Batman: The Animated Series. A repeat of something like that wouldn’t be shocking.
